Iowa’s Biggest Big Buck Contest Upper Level!

The biggest bucks taken in the last couple years will be on display for your eyes only. This is the contest all Iowa Hunters are striving to win. Many different categories to compete in including Firearm, Bow, Muzzleloader, Historical, Youth, Crossbow and Ladies categories, all broken into Typical and Non-Typical divisions! If you took a trophy whitetail in the past two years, we certainly encourage you to enter! There is a historical division for bucks taken before Fall 2023 season. Your $20 Big Buck Contest entry fee includes official Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young measuring of your trophy and a chance to win a Bow!

Monster Shed Antler Contest Upper Level!

To view Upper Level Diagram CLICK HERE–Hundreds of monster sheds from all across whitetail country will be on display for the weekend in this great contest sponsored by the North American Shed Hunters Club! Whitetail sheds can be brought in and entered into our contest for awards and prizes creating a spectacular display showcasing the great finds of shed hunters. A fitting display for a pastime which is so quickly growing in popularity. The Shed Antler Display has expanded to occupy over 100 feet of shed antlers!

Sign up to shoot the Hoyt Classic 300 Tournament! — The Mid-Iowa Archers and the Iowa Deer Classic
are excited to bring you this 3-day Vegas-Style 300 Round Tournament to be held in Hall A of the Iowa Events Center.
All proceeds will benefit the Mid Iowa Archers.
Amateur Tournament Entry Fee is only $10, and cubs (kids age 8-11) are only $5. Professional shooter Entry Fee is $50 with an 80% payback!
Trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 12 Divisions!

Kids Archery Range
Located next to the 300 Range in North Hall A.

Kids Archery Range

Flint River Archery Club
will offer Free youth archery lessons and free shooting.
We’ll have 2-3 archery targets set up with StickIt™ A.S. target archery sets from S.A.F.E. Archery® that kids can enjoy for free. These targets allow kids to shoot safely, with arrows tipped in a special Velcro disc that sticks to the target face while the shaft drops to the ground. The targets are quick to set up, don’t require electricity, and are perfect for all ages. A variety of bow sizes will be available so that every child can find a good fit.
